IsBnilvbeilowe invites the audience to experience two opposing roles: being someone unseen and choosing not to see. Through a cage-like structure located within the Società Umanitaria space, the artist explores the alienation of immigrants and their invisibility in society. From a distance, the space appears empty, but upon entering and looking up, one discovers a hidden reality: figures above, inaccessible, behind bars. The footprints left by these bodies contain an encoded message, decipherable only with attention and linguistic effort. The work becomes a physical and symbolic experience of exclusion, misunderstanding, and distance; but also an invitation to reflect on how we perceive and ignore the “other,” both in life and in art.

IsBnilvbeilowe invita il pubblico a vivere due esperienze opposte: essere chi non viene visto e chi sceglie di non vedere. Attraverso una struttura simile a una gabbia ubicata nello spazio di Società Umanitaria, l’artista esplora l’alienazione degli immigrati e la loro invisibilità nella società. Da lontano, lo spazio sembra vuoto, ma entrando e alzando lo sguardo, si scopre una realtà nascosta: figure sopra, inaccessibili, oltre le sbarre. Le orme lasciate da questi corpi contengono un messaggio cifrato, decodificabile solo con attenzione e uno sforzo linguistico. L’opera diventa così un’esperienza fisica e simbolica di esclusione, incomprensione e distanza, ma anche un invito a riflettere su come percepiamo e ignoriamo l’altro, nella vita come nell’arte.
